Family Support Network

Learning that a loved one faces capital punishment, or has been sentenced to death, is incredibly devastating. The journey family and friends face is a long and challenging one, and you shouldn’t have to face it alone. TJC’s Family Support Network can offer the following:

• Connect you to other families of people facing the death penalty
• Provide information about various options and mechanisms available to you
• Help you understand and navigate the death penalty regime in Singapore (e.g. the laws, processes, timelines, rights of families, rights of prisoners)
• Support you in engaging with the police, courts and prisons
• Connect you to international NGOs and other opportunities for advocacy
• Connect you to legal advice and aid
• Financial assistance
• Emotional and moral support
• Engaging with the media
• Campaigning
• Get you involved with the anti-death penalty movement in Singapore and beyond
• Any other advice, resources or support you need, to the best of our ability
